Insurance & Billing
Effective Date: September 14, 2025
At Skinner Auto Glass, LLC, we proudly work with most major insurance companies to make your auto glass repair or replacement as smooth and hassle-free as possible. Below you’ll find details on how we handle insurance claims and billing.
1. Insurance Claims Made Simple
-
We accept insurance claims for windshield repairs and replacements through most carriers and third-party administrators (TPAs).
-
Skinner Auto Glass, LLC is registered with Safelite Solutions and Lynx Services, two of the primary TPAs used by major insurance companies.
-
Our team will help guide you through the claim process and provide the documentation your insurance company requires.
-
You are free to choose Skinner Auto Glass, LLC as your repair facility — even if your insurer suggests another provider.
2. Your Responsibility
-
While we work directly with insurance companies and TPAs for billing, the customer remains responsible for:
-
Any deductible required under your policy.
-
Any charges not covered or denied by your insurance company.
-
-
If your claim is not approved, you will be responsible for payment under our standard service pricing.
3. Billing Process
-
Once your insurance claim is approved, Skinner Auto Glass, LLC will submit billing directly to your insurance company through Safelite Solutions or Lynx Services.
-
We may require a signed work order or assignment of benefits (AOB) form authorizing us to bill on your behalf.
-
Insurance payments are typically made directly to us. If payment is sent to you in error, you agree to forward the payment to Skinner Auto Glass, LLC promptly.
4. Out-of-Pocket Customers
-
Customers who do not wish to go through insurance may pay directly at the time of service.
-
We accept multiple forms of payment, including cash, credit/debit cards, checks, Venmo (business payments only), and online invoices via email.
5. Warranty Coverage
-
All insurance and out-of-pocket jobs are covered under our Limited Lifetime Warranty, subject to the conditions described at www.skinnerautoglass.com/warranty.
6. Questions About Coverage
-
If you are unsure whether your repair or replacement is covered, contact your insurance company or reach out to us.
-
We will be glad to walk you through the process and provide a clear estimate before work begins.
