Skinner Auto Glass, LLC is committed to delivering professional, high-quality auto glass repair, replacement, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) calibration services. We proudly stand behind our workmanship with this Limited Lifetime Warranty covering the original glass repaired or replaced by us for as long as you own or lease the vehicle on which the service was performed, subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations outlined below.

1. Windshield Repair Warranty
Coverage
Windshield chip and crack repairs performed by Skinner Auto Glass, LLC are completed using professional-grade equipment and resins manufactured by Ultra Bond, an industry-recognized windshield repair system.
​
Repairs are warranted against spreading from the original repair point for as long as you own or lease the vehicle on which the repair was performed, subject to the conditions below.
​
Structural Integrity & Performance Disclosure
Windshield repair is designed to restore structural stability, reinforce the damaged area, and prevent further spreading.
​
Ultra Bond laboratory testing indicates the potential to restore significant structural strength to damaged laminated glass. However, due to variables beyond installer control — including break type, contamination, environmental conditions, and prior stress — restored strength levels cannot be guaranteed under all real-world driving conditions.
​
Repaired glass will remain structurally compromised compared to undamaged laminated glass.
​
Customers acknowledge that:
• The repair reinforces but does not eliminate prior structural weakness
• Prior impact damage permanently alters glass integrity
• Environmental and operational factors may influence long-term performance
​
Cosmetic & Optical Expectations
Windshield repair does not restore the glass to pre-damage optical condition.
​
Normal repair characteristics may include:
​
• Minor blemishes
• Light refraction or distortion
• Residual visibility of the break
​
These characteristics are inherent to the repair process and are not considered defects.
​
Failure of Repair Remedy
If a repaired chip or crack spreads from the original repair point:
​

We will attempt to re-repair the damage at no cost.

If re-repair is not possible or unsuccessful, the original repair cost will be credited toward a full windshield replacement performed by Skinner Auto Glass, LLC.
Repair Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
​
• New or unrelated damage
• Additional rock chips or cracks
• Impact damage after repair
• Pre-existing structural weaknesses outside the repair zone

2. Auto Glass Replacement Warranty
Coverage
Auto glass replacements performed by Skinner Auto Glass, LLC are warranted against defects in installation workmanship, including:
​
• Air leaks
• Water leaks
• Excessive wind noise
• Improper fitment
• Installation-related defects
​
Coverage applies only to the specific glass installed by Skinner Auto Glass, LLC.
​
Duration
Coverage remains valid for as long as you own or lease the vehicle on which the glass was installed.
​
Remedy
If a qualifying defect arises, we will repair or replace the affected glass at no cost to you.
​
2.4 Manufacturing & Glass Defect Reporting Period
While installation workmanship is covered for the lifetime duration above, the glass itself is manufactured by third-party suppliers and is subject to manufacturer warranty policies.
​
Customers must report any suspected manufacturing or glass defect within 7 days of installation.
​
Verified defects reported within this period will qualify for replacement at no cost, subject to supplier warranty approval.
​
Failure to report defects within the 7-day period voids coverage for those specific conditions unless otherwise required by the manufacturer.
​
Examples of Manufacturing Defects
(Covered if Reported Within 7 Days)

Manufacturing defects may include, but are not limited to:
​
• Optical distortion, waviness, or visual bending
• Laminated glass delamination
• Embedded debris or particles within the glass
• Factory blemishes or visual obstructions
• Defroster grid or heating element failure
• Failure of bonded attachments, including:
– Rearview mirror buttons
– Rain or light sensor mounts
– Camera or ADAS brackets
– Lane departure or forward-collision mounts
– Heads-Up Display (HUD) film separation
• Pre-installed moldings or encapsulations separating from the glass

Conditions Not Considered Manufacturing Defects
The following are not considered manufacturing defects and are not covered beyond the reporting period:
• Stress cracks occurring after installation
• Rock chips or road debris damage
• Impact damage
• Thermal fractures
• Accidents, vandalism, or acts of nature
• Work performed by other facilities

Discretionary Assistance
Skinner Auto Glass, LLC may offer goodwill assistance outside the reporting period at its sole discretion but is not obligated to do so.
​
3. General Exclusions & Limitations
This Limited Lifetime Warranty does not cover:
• New or unrelated damage after service
• Rock chips, cracks, or impact damage
• Accidents, vandalism, theft, or acts of nature
• Misuse or neglect
• Rust, corrosion, or pre-existing vehicle damage
• Repairs performed by other parties

4. ADAS Calibration Warranty & Limitations
When ADAS calibration services are performed by Skinner Auto Glass, LLC, we warranty that calibration procedures are completed according to manufacturer guidelines using proper equipment and processes.
​
Coverage Includes
• Proper static and/or dynamic calibration procedures
• System scan verification
• Documentation confirming calibration completion
​
If a calibration fault arises due to improper workmanship, we will re-perform calibration at no cost.
​
Limitations
This warranty does not cover system performance issues caused by factors outside our control, including:
​
• Pre-existing diagnostic trouble codes
• Faulty sensors or modules
• Alignment or suspension issues
• Ride height irregularities
• Tire discrepancies
• Structural or prior collision damage
• Aftermarket modifications

Post-Service Requirements
Customers acknowledge:
​
• Some vehicles require drive cycles for relearning
• Warning lights may temporarily remain
• Manufacturer software updates may be required
​
4.1 ADAS Calibration Refusal & Waiver
If a customer declines calibration or elects to have calibration completed elsewhere, a signed ADAS Calibration Waiver is required acknowledging:

• Calibration was recommended or required
• Safety systems may not function properly without calibration
• System warnings or malfunctions may occur
​
All liability related to ADAS system performance transfers to the customer and/or third-party provider once calibration is declined.
​
Skinner Auto Glass, LLC assumes no responsibility for damages or system failures resulting from declined calibration.
​
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must:
​
• Report warranty concerns promptly
• Provide proof of service
• Allow vehicle inspection
• Present the vehicle or allow mobile access
​
Failure to comply may void warranty coverage.
​
6. Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original customer while the glass remains installed on the serviced vehicle.

7. Legal Notice & Limitation of Liability
This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Liability is limited solely to repair or replacement as outlined above. Skinner Auto Glass, LLC is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
